Helo saunas come in many different finishes, shapes and sizes, but if you can’t find a standard sauna to suit your plans or specifications, we’ll make you one that does.
Fitting a sauna is simple, it needs no water, drainage or special ventilation. You can assemble the sauna yourself, use a local tradesperson, or get Helo to deliver and install. Helo saunas are built to the highest standard. The cabins are manufactured in Helo factories in Finland and Germany using the best quality wood from renewable sources. Details are not neglected such as the air gap incorporated into every wall and ceiling panel which works together with the insulation and vapour barrier layers to achieve maximum insulation. Helo benches are made from select Abachi hardwood, which keeps cool and is therefore more comfortable to sit on.
At the heart of every traditional sauna is the heater not only a source of heat and humidity, but a focal point for bathers. Over the last 50 years or so, Helo has sold over 1,500,000 heaters worldwide. Sauna can be enjoyed in a number of ways some like it very hot and dry, others prefer a softer, more comfortable heat with higher humidity. Helo has a heater to suit everyone, from our Ever Ready heater which uses a tiny amount of power to remain hot, to our highly popular and unique “Softhot” design, which enables bathers to create high levels of humidity for a softer feel.

A bespoke built steam room designed by Helo's in-house architect and created by our own craftsmen provides you with the opportunity to own a unique steam room. Utilising modern composite materials to create a fully water tight enclosure Helo can fit an unlimited choice of porcelain, ceramic or granite tiles to create a luxury steam room of virtually any appearance, shape or size.
Helo's philosophy regarding the internal finishes of such a steam room is to ensure that it compliments the style used in the adjacent area. We accomplish this by working closely with you, your architects and interior designers.

ROMA STEAM

The modular construction using durable lightweight ABS plastic panels offers significant benefits over more traditionals tiled rooms:
- ECONOMICAL - Superb insulation means lower power generator, usually less than half the kW required for conventional steam rooms
- CLEAN & HYGIENIC - continuous smooth white panels are easy to keep clean and sideline worries over dirty grout, cracked tiles etc.
- CONVENIENT & COMFORTABLE - ready for use in 10 to 15 minutes, the plastic moulded seats are warm and cleverly shaped to double as a bench for complete relaxation.
- SELF-CONTAINED & HASSLE FREE - As Roma is a free standing structure, you have only to provide the space and a drained floor for HELO to assemble your steam room with the minimum of fuss. The exterior may then be finished in the décor of your choice
